A long time ago, I bought a dinner set with Gibson dinnerware patterns to be used for our household. The dinner set was lovely and beautiful, the patterns very romantic and nostalgic.
I was quite happy with it actually until after some time, maybe due to over use and carelessness, I had some chips and breaks in my dinnerware set. I was concerned because I could no longer use them for entertaining and having guests over for dinner. It would have been embarrassing using shipped plates and dinnerware for visitor’s use. And while I was very much willing to pay to have those pieces replaced, when I checked with my distributor, I found that they already discontinued the said pattern.
So there I was with an incomplete set which I could no longer use except for microwave meals for myself. I had to get a new dinner set to be used for social calls, parties and such. So I went online to find a new dinnerware set, this time making sure that the patterns have a long lifespan, just in case I do chip or break some pieces. I managed to find a Corelle dinnerware set with a designed that I really, really liked. I am so happy with it because aside from the smart look of the dinner set, they are actually very durable too. After all, Corelle is famed for producing special dinnerware made from a material they call Vitrelle which makes their dinnerware durable and strong. Not only that, they are chip resistant and break resistant, which is perfect for a klutz like me.
The dinnerware is also microwave ansd dishwasher safe so I don’t have to worry about hand washing each one of them since I can just leave in the dishwasher. Over all, I am very happy with the Corelle dinner set that I now own.
